False Prophet Bob Schrecengost of Voice of Tomorrow Ministries came to Moncton, NB, Canada, last night – October 6th, 2015, with approximately 100 people in attendance. The gathering was held at Crandall University’s Briton Auditorium and hosted by a young couple who appear to be very genuine. A few different churches were in attendance and as the worship music was taking place, a clear “Toronto Blessing” spirit began to manifest. I’m OK with this; if an individual feels the need to shake, rattle and roll, by all means have at it! Personally speaking, I don’t feel the need to shake my head, jerk my body and make strange noises in order to “prove” that the Holy Spirit is on me. In fact, I believe the opposite is true; if one acts in a manner which is strange – it “can” be the Holy Spirit but often is not. It’s merely the individual’s own emotions. Afterall, do these “spiritual giants” act all wacky and messed up while at work? lol. I highly doubt it.
As false prophet Bob Schrecengost took the stage, he began to speak. His preaching was more of a comedy show than a message sent by God. Over and over and over again he’d make jokes; some of which were funny yet unfitting for the environment in which he was speaking. He made some great points; he obviously has a godly heritage as he shared a bit of his testimony. He spoke of being in a church that focused much – it seemed – on prayer. His church background indicated to me that he came from a United Pentecostal heritage and while I’m certainly not in agreement with the UPC organization as a whole nor it’s works based gospel and teachings. That said, there are many UPC’s who love the Lord deeply and I celebrate the fact that they know what it means to press in to the Lord in prayer and self denial. He made statements concerning the legalism he was brought up in and did so in a mocking way; hence I can see why he’s so light when it comes to the Things of God. He was brought up in imbalance and extreme and as a reaction he’s now imbalanced and extreme in the opposite direction.
False prophet Bob Schrecengost at one point referred to the Holy Spirit as a Peurto Rican and compared an axe handle to a man’s penis by very clear and direct implication. His lightness in his speech betrayed his other statements which seemed to be spot on in a handful of instances. Mr. Schrecengost was, however and for the most part, a very light man with very profane speech. Not in a cussing kind of way – but rather in a manner which I wouldn’t allow my 10 year old daughter to speak in. False prophet Bob Schrecengost was extremely arrogant; the spirit of pride on this man was not hidden in any way, shape or form.
As the meeting progressed, so did this false prophet’s appetite to tell stories of God’s power that he experienced and walked in in the past; clearly, this man’s glory days have been long over for a long, long time! He made it appear, however, that the prophetic anointing of God is still with him. Thus, I wanted to test this false prophet’s gifting. Mind you, I did not think, “False prophet!” immediately; even though his mannerisms and sacrilegiousness was glaringly obvious, I wanted to give this man the benefit of the doubt. Alas, this man only continued to confirm his falseness; over and over and over again.
Interestingly, during his “sermon” he stated that people who give prophecies that reveal sin, etc, are inspired by demons. This statement was directly meant to quash any “negative” word that may be spoken. While Bob may not have realized it, satan did and thus satan set the stage for non-acceptance of anything perceived as negative. The devil knows his time is short and he doesn’t mess around! He’ll throw a preemptive strike at the true prophetic word… but praise God, satan has lost and the prophetic word never ever fails to expose him! In Acts 5:1-11 we see the Apostle Peter prophetically speaking to Ananias and his wife a word which – after spoken – brought the Judgement of God on both Ananaias and his wife. There was no “grace and mercy” in Peter’s words in this particular prophetic word:
“But there was a certain man named Ananias who, with his wife, Sapphira, sold some property. 2 He brought part of the money to the apostles, claiming it was the full amount. With his wife’s consent, he kept the rest. Then Peter said, “Ananias, why have you let Satan fill your heart? You lied to the Holy Spirit, and you kept some of the money for yourself. The property was yours to sell or not sell, as you wished. And after selling it, the money was also yours to give away. How could you do a thing like this? You weren’t lying to us but to God!”As soon as Ananias heard these words, he fell to the floor and died. Everyone who heard about it was terrified. Then some young men got up, wrapped him in a sheet, and took him out and buried him.About three hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. Peter asked her, “Was this the price you and your husband received for your land?”“Yes,” she replied, “that was the price.”And Peter said, “How could the two of you even think of conspiring to test the Spirit of the Lord like this? The young men who buried your husband are just outside the door, and they will carry you out, too.”Instantly, she fell to the floor and died. When the young men came in and saw that she was dead, they carried her out and buried her beside her husband. Great fear gripped the entire church and everyone else who heard what had happened.”
He called for people to the front, stating he’d lay hands on each and every one of us. So there we all were, lined up, waiting for false prophet Bob Schrecengost to spring into prophetic action. He wouldn’t disappoint… yet his prophetic gift was not prophetic at all; it was pathetic! He went to one of our guys, Jesse, and prophesied that Jesse would be a medical doctor, tending to sports injuries. Jesse is in his third year of accounting at Crandall University; he’s certainly not and never will be a doctor. False prophet Bob Schrecengost then went to one of the sisters (outside in the parking lot as the building needed to be closed) and began to “prophesy” to her about music, etc… it was gibberish nonsense. When he came to me, he prophesied I’d have a guitar and worship, blah blah blah. I can’t play guitar and never will; I’m not a worship leader and have no interest in guitar. He was very specific in his false prophecy to me. As he continued to speak, I simply cut him off and said, “I rebuke you, you lying spirit, in the Name of Jesus”. As can be expected, he didn’t’ like that; it messed up the rest of his false prophecy to m,e lol. I wouldn’t allow him to continue prophesying lies over my life; it just wasn’t going to happen. he got all mad and angry – as all false prophets do when confronted – and told me to leave (as if I was going to stay lol).
I did, earlier on, have a very clear open vision – two of them. In the first, I saw a fog – a green colored transparent fog – near the front of the stage. The fog I was looking at engulfed many people yet I noticed that it did not stretch to the entire building. I later saw, as I stood in the line waiting for prayer, what appeared to be a fig withering up and a map. The Lord spoke to me saying, in effect, “This man’s ministry will wither, just as you see the fig has withered. His finances will wither and the East Coast that you see on this map will close it’s doors to him”.
I certainly do not claim to be infallible; however, I have no issue claiming that I know my Father’s voice. Bob Schrecengost was not representing the voice of the Lord but on the contrary, the voice of the enemy. His ministry of clearly of the enemy; he’s been raised up by satan to deceive, if possible, the very elect of God.
Thus ended the evening.
Some have felt that my rebuke to this false prophet was out of line and inappropriate; these precious individuals are clearly deceived and have no concern nor care for the integrity of God’s Word and the true prophetic anointing; either that or they simply know nothing of what the genuine prophetic anointing of God actually is. To behold brothers and sisters defending and shielding false prophets is sad indeed; to watch as the blind lead the blind is a tragedy! I do pray that God would open the eyes of His People who have been blinded by the god of this world.
To you who support charlatans and wolves; you will indeed reap the reward of the prophet; whether a true prophet or a false one. Be absolutely certain that those you shield and protect are indeed of God.
